Radio and Television broadcasters
Television and Radio broadcasters are the persons who talk to audiences over the airwaves, providing information, and entertainment. Broadcasters read or broadcast news, weather, commercials, sports and station announcements. In addition, they frequently act as Performers. However, there are several differences between Television and Radio broadcasters. Radio broadcasters handle a variety of assignments: playing music, reading, logging the meters, etc. Television broadcasters, when on air, announce or talk only.
Broadcasters have to have the abilities to learn and understand procedures, use words to present information and ideas clearly, speak extemporaneously. Beside these important abilities, they should have other abilities such as developing a good vocabulary, using clear pronunciation, working accurately with detail, working well with people, working under pressure of deadlines and a tight schedule and so on. Moreover, they have to have interest in coordinating data and recourses and performing for or entertaining others.
Broadcasters work usually indoors, in studio and control or announce rooms. Many radio stations and all television stations operate seven days and seven nights a week, but night and weekend shifts often go to beginners. Long hours and overtime may be required which may be stressful. Researching could be mundane at times. Here are some related occupations: Actors, Broadcast Technicians, Meteorologists, and Public Relations Workers, and related majors or programs: Dramatic Arts, English and Literature, Journalism, Music, Speech.
The payment of Broadcasters in
| LMI occupation | Entry Pay | Average Pay | Top pay |
| Radio & Television Announcement | $1,887 | $4,236 | $4,683 & up |
| Broadcast News Analysts | $2,894 | $7,736 | $12,133 & up |
Job availability for any occupation can change with national and global economics, unexpected political events and natural disasters. Current events can change demand for jobs quickly.
There are many benefits of this job. It may vary depending on type and size of employer. Many employers offer paid sick leave, paid holidays, paid vacations, health insurance, and retirement plans. Some benefit packages include life insurance, disability insurance, and educational reimbursement. Some health plans include dental and vision care. However, self-employment workers must arrange for their own benefits.

Dream job and company
If I became a nurse, I would choose El Camino Hospital to work for because it is my aunt's first choice, too. The hospital is at 2500 Grant Road, Mountain View, CA 94040. It had its very first patient in September 1, 1961. Up till now, it becomes top 5% of all hospitals in the country, top hospital of California and receives five-star HealthGrades for women's health services. This hospital has comprehensive health care organization, including cardiac care, dialysis, cancer care, maternal child health services, orthopedics, neurosurgery and behavioral health.

Road Trip Nation
When he was thirteen years old, the first Sputnik satellite was launched. Therefore, Garfield was encouraged to excel in science and math, a pursuit that eventually led to a job with the moon-landing project. However, when he was working on the project, he found out that he interested in people more than in science, so he decided he wanted to study about human behavior.
The work he is most proud of is the very first volunteer program he initiated as a new faculty member at the Shanti project to work with seriously old people who always talk about the same two things: people they've loved and work they're proud of.
What I have learned from this video is that if you want to know what to do, you have to know who you are. You need to think about what you want to be doing, what would be doing, what would be fun and what would be gratified.
I will utilize this lesson for searching my future job because no one knows me, what I want, what I like to do or to be than I do.

Top two careers
The video that I chose to get information about nursing was “Nursing, it’s more than a job” at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6o4yYwU2sE8. It was an excellent video! It did not talk much about what nurses do, how they do this, how they do that, etc, but it talked about their feelings and the benefit of being a nurse, and it is all that I need to know about nursing. First, it has excellent pay. Second, it tests all of your abilities because nurses have to do many things; therefore they have to have not only the health care knowledge but also the technology skills, communication skills and so on. However, intelligence, health care knowledge and technology skills are not enough, there must be a heart to become a nurse. Besides, being a nurse is working hand on; you have to go from patient to patient to do some tests, give medicine, etc, and this is what I like about nursing; it just shows that “you can not get closer to anybody than to be a nurse”. There is one thing that I like best about this video is all the feelings of the nurses when they know they have indeed made the differences, when they can see, touch and feel right away that they have made the impact on their patients’ life; there is really no better feeling!!! I watched this video several times and the more I watch it the more I love nursing. You can help people, make the differences and also have security, reward, and financial benefit of it at the same time, what more is there!!!
Photographer
Searching for photography on YouTube was much harder than searching for nursing. There were not many choices, so it took me a really long time to find a video that I nearly satisfied with. The name of the video is “Career Profile - Photographer” (at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGwgJix_qFs). This video is about an animal photographer who volunteered at the zoo and found his dream job when he knew that there is a photography position there. According to the video, it is really interesting to be a photographer; you can experience different things everyday, work at different places, and capture the beauty of nature. I saw the photographer’s photograph of a cheetah and it was absolutely beautiful, amazing and magical! I just love it! This is a creative job, so it is really a challenging job. You have to be prepared for all the unplanned things to come and try to be there to photograph it; missing the moment can be the destroyer of your finished production. Moreover, you have to learn software, learn the advantages in digital photography and position video and update new coming items. This is just a summary of one of million kinds of career you can have within photography industry.
First day experience.
After finishing the reading class, I went to counseling class and I was surprise because there were many people in the class and the people were keep moving in. I tried to find a seat which was nearest to the teacher’s desk in order to hear her talk easily and look at her when she was talking. I sat at the left side of the class with some Mexican friends, one of them answered those “to know each other” questions with me. We worked in group of two to question and answer these questions. It turned out that many people wanted to be engineers, even my partner. After that the professor told us about some rules and some information about online class.
The most interesting thing was viewing the answer of the question that sooner or later the students will ask “which career earns much money”. Twenty careers were nominated: Marketing manager, Psychologist… Because there were many careers that I did not know, I could not remember all of them and because at that time, I just waited and waited and waited and waited for nurse to come out but it did not. I was a little bit disappointed about that but then I thought “it is okay”; I have my own reasons and purpose to become a nurse. I wanted to be a nurse so that I can join some charitable activities, UNICEF as an example, to help poor people, kids; with my skill of health care I could care for them and know what is good for them. Furthermore, as a nurse I would not be as busy as a doctor, so I could have time to care about my family, join charitable activities, do something to enjoy life…
In conclusion, it is an interesting class that I attended and although it seems that I already had the “idea”, I could not decided yet. Therefore, I am very eager to attend at the next counseling class on Thursday.
